It's rare for any place to get 5 stars from me. This place is fantastic. The best wings I may have ever had in my life. How you get them so sticky and crunchy is magic. My Tempura Udon soup was full of veggies and umami. Very friendly service.

Food was delicious!!! It's rare to see a place that does Japanese food AND Korean food well. We got a few appetizers (agedashi tofu and avocado bomb), the tonkatsu bento box and 10 piece Korean fried chicken (soy garlic and honey butter). The fried chicken was so crispy and flavorful and I loved the bento box presentation!

I love this place friendly staff, server was on point with everything, great food for the price point, and the food was prepared quickly, but courses were not rushed. Please keep up the great work. Thank you for a great experience at your establishment.

I don’t know where to start because I love this place so much. I recommend Plate more than going out for sushi downtown. They have a great chill vibe, the staff are welcoming, and the food is always very fresh. They have something extra special that makes the place just so comfortable. The food is super good and menu has a lot of variety.

This place was RAD. We sat outside with a group of 6, EVERYTHING was top notch in food quality and temperature. These guys know what’s up. It’d be a crime to not come here if you’re looking for some of the best Asian food in the city. Sushi, Bento, and noodles were perfect. We’ll be back :)

I had the Beef Teriyaki Bento for lunch at Plate Sushi and Chicken, and it was a delightful experience! The interior of the restaurant was not only aesthetically pleasing but also quite comfortable, which was perfect for our group dining outing. The best part was that our food came out surprisingly fast! The Beef Teriyaki Bento was a real treat. The teriyaki sauce was just the right balance of savory, not too sweet, and not too salty - it hit the spot perfectly. I’m already looking forward to my next visit, as I can’t wait to try all the other bento options on the menu. A great place for a delicious and satisfying meal! I had a fantastic experience at Plate Sushi and Chicken in Ann Arbor. I ordered the ‘Salmon on the Beach’ and the ‘Popcorn Chicken Bento.’ The meal started with a pleasant surprise - cucumber and crab for the appetizer, along with a bowl of miso soup before the main course. The portion size was generous, so I had leftovers for dinner, which was a bonus. The sauces were delicious, and the shumai was quite tasty. I’m looking forward to returning for another delightful meal!

We just got specialty sushi rolls, they were all good. Our fav was the Broadway, only critic from my family was that the Salmon on the Beach had too much cream cheese lol. Very nice staff and atmosphere, there were about 10-15 tables if I had to say and it was pretty much completely full on a Monday night so I might recommend a reservation.

Super authentic and chill atmosphere. Staff were very nice and brought soup and tea before we could even ask! Great experience and the food was amazing. The only reason I put the food at a 4 was the freshness of tuna. If I could have put it at a 4.5 I would!
